Programs
There are a number of things going on at Hope. The following is a short list of a few of the ways to get involved.
Worship TEAM
The Worship TEAM put together the Sunday morning worship services and other materials for worship the rest of the week. They put together all the elements that surround each Sunday's themes by planning for music, spoken word, dramas, visual media, and church year decoration. They also assist families in their family worship times during the church year. This year we are learning from "The Story" by Zondervan Publishing. In the Winter and Spring (through May) we will study the Old Testament and in the Fall (Sept.) we will study the new Testament.
Adult Education
Adult Education TEAM helps our turn members into disciples by digging deeper into God's word. They plan ways to bring us into a closer relationship with Christ through the study of His Word and help our members and the community, learn how, with God's help, tackle the trials that would try to distract us from becoming the people God would have us to be. Some studies focus on: our finances, raising our children, Bible Study, community service, worship styles, etc.This year we will look in depth at "The Story" as we explore God's Word together, each Sunday at 11:30 am.
Missions TEAM
Pastor Gary is leading the missions team in reaching out to the local and global communities with the love of Christ. The Missions TEAM assists the congregation in carrying our our missions work both here in Indianapolis and around the world.
Hospitality TEAM
Joan and her TEAM assist the congregation is planning for events, decorating, and welcoming our visitors and new friends. They feed us, welcome us, and make sure we are comfortable so we can hear the good news without distraction.
Building Arts TEAM
The Building Arts TEAM assist the congregation in making a good first impression on the community so as to attract them to Jesus and Hope Church. These dedicated members do everything from mowing the grass, to fixing the electric, to insuring that the building is in good and presentable opperating order. They, like Christ, take the broken and make it whole.
