In the Gospel of Matthew Jesus said, “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” As we enter into worship each week it is sobering to remember that when God appeared on earth in person of Jesus most of the world did not recognize Him and therefore did not worship Him. At Hope, we ask God for the faith that will open our eyes to see Jesus for who He is, that we might worship Him in truth. We open our eyes to see His glory. We open our ears to hear His wisdom, we open our hearts to offer Him our love.

In 2012 we will be reading God's Story and our Story as we study the book, "The Story" by Zondervan Publishing. Each week we will hear more of the Story in Worship, Adult and children's education and in Children's Worship. It will become the focus of our life together as we seek to discover how God's Story is our Story and it is still unfolding before us.
